It lightly brushed my face yesterday,
I swore it couldn’t be so,
Yet on my walk today,
so clearly,
yes.
It’s snow.

yes.
It’s snow.
It likely went unnoticed by most. It was just a scatter of a few snowflakes in the wind; but I saw them as I walked to the parking lot last night and as I took my lunchtime walk today.
The photo above is one of my old works from last year, of robins that overwinter in Illinois - it's one of my dozen or so featured Christmas card covers.
There's no snow on the ground. Yet.

I brought mom shopping and out for lunch today and when we came out of the restaurant, there was wet snow falling. It turned to rain again so the ground didn't get a chance to get white. Just goes to show, though, how it can start at any time now!! Love that picture. We don't see robins in the winter time over here...now I know where they went:-) xoxo
It still seems so early for snow. Though it probably isn't.
Hi there, I enjoyed reading your blog and viewing you photos. I found your blog from my sisters blog; "Goodmorningmarysunshine" I liked reading about your dads birthday party and I don't even know him. He sounds like the perfect father and I bet I'm right. Ozark brother
